Journeys | The Road Home is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, social services, and housing to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in over 37 towns in north/northwest suburban Cook County, Illinois. The organization offers a range of services including emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, case management, and life sustaining resources. They also provide medical and mental health services, employment assistance, and veteran's services. Their ultimate goal is to not only provide immediate aid, but also to help individuals break the cycle of homelessness.
